I remember teching for a ball one night...

Edinburgh University run a masked ball once a year, and I was head tech
for outside, and the McEwan Hall (The hall where the graduations were...)

We blew a 200A incoming fuse that night.
3 times.

(Surprisingly, it had nothing to do with my 63A 3 phase distro being in
puddles of water outside, and was in fact, an incoming cable fault...)

It was nice watching the switch room light up when the engineer put on his
glove and replaced the fuse...

Ah, those were the days.
