Having lived in BFE Maine for the majority of my life, people thought I
was some kind of a freak when I moved to Houston for a couple years and
started driving. They'd wonder why I always said it was no big deal to
drive a half hour or so to visit people, and get pissed off when I got a
little confused when nobody else wanted to drive even that far. Hell, I
have to drive a hundred miles each way just to get to a Best Buy now.
Unfortunately, I'd have to drive about 6 hours to get anyplace that has
machine giveaways.
It's just not that rough to drive a while, I mean, when else can you
focus on so few things at once and really relax these days? Pop a CD in
the stereo and just focus on the road.

Damn straight.
Actaully, I tend to ignore anything that isn't in walking distance.
