Do the series III duplex?
I wasn't clear the first time through...I've got an old Laserjet II
(something), and other than the speed and squeekiness it's fine. It's a
royal hassle to remember to print evens, flip, print odds, and hope that
nothing jams or misfeeds. So, I'm thinking an older LJ that duplexes might
be just the upgrade I'm looking for. Networking would be nice, but not
essential, although I suspect most machines large enough to duplex will
probably be ready to network anyway.
Furthermore, I just realized that the paper tray capacity isn't as much as
a problem if you're duplexing, so that's probably a non-issue.
Office Depot has an LJ 2200 series printer that looks good (even has IrDA),
but that's in the $600-$800 range.
