  .5Tb+ filesystems are *insane*, in my opinion.  Of course this isn't
an excuse for Amanda's requirement in this case, but my point stands.

  Amanda makes no apologies for its buffer disk requirements.
However, I think you'll agree that it gives a lot back in exchange for
it.
