~ gadget like that is government.  Even a big company can't generate
~ enough paper to justify an archival system like that.  

Actually, there is a huge market for this. I supported 6 installations of
between 6 and 12 scanners per location, and this was just in the Mid
Atlantic and New England regions. With a faster machine they could have used
1 or 2 per location.

And none of these customers were Gov. The closest to Gov was Massachusetts
and New York Blue Cross/Blue Sheild and their HICFA/Medicare claims form
operations.
