These two are easy.

I have an 8x8 (8 x 400Mhz cpu, 8G ram) E6500 at work that doesent run
Java-based apps at reasonable speeds. 8-)

It runs fine... Sol9 is at least 10% faster than 8 on equivalent hardware
as far as I can tell. I've installed it on a 900Mhz Blade 1000, a 500Mhz
Blade 100, a 300mhz Ultra 60, and am getting ready to install it on a 440Mhz
Ultra 10.
