Actually no - there is a difference.

Plumbers crack requires that your shirt is too short and your pants hang 
too low, allowing the entire crack of said person's ass (including any 
hair growing from crack) to extrude PAST the pants as if it's on it's way 
to a ballgame or something.

Carpenters Crack is completely different.

Carpenters Crack requires that you place the majority of the tools you are 
using into your back pockets causing said pants to slouch in the back.  In 
order for the Carpenter's Ass Crack Action[tm] to happen, you have to have 
a 3-day-old pair of fruit-of-the-loom's on INSIDE-OUT (don't forget this 
part) and the tag has to be showing.  Only the TOP part of the crack is 
shown above the undies tag.  This is the 'Carpenter's Crack'.
