At the moment I use a linux machine for MP3 playing, FLAC playing, and
CD playing.  It could easily be a Solaris or NetBSD machine though
(mmm, an PCI upgradable rackmount sun with NetBSD and a hammerfall
card.  Audio serving for the whole family).
