My name is Eric, pronounced Air-ick, no matter where I go.  If
someone doesn't pronounce it the way I do, I correct them.

Someone from another part of the world may be named Eric,
pronounced E-rick, but that doesn't mean the pronunciation
of my name changes if I were to visit there.
