I have an AXi machine here that seems to have trouble with cdroms. I
have the cdrom on a wide->narrow terminating converter. If I try to
boot cdrom, it takes about 5 minutes, and the cdrom looks idle...
then it finally gives up on mounting the root fs. Output follows:
SPARCengine(tm)Ultra(tm) AXi (UltraSPARC-IIi 300MHz), No Keyboard
OpenBoot 3.10.4 SME, 1024 MB memory installed, Serial #8382984.
Ethernet address 8:0:20:7f:ea:8, Host ID: 807fea08.
