I got mine at an office furniture store. They had a huge area of used stuff.
95% crap but the other 5% is really good. Look for a store that carries the
industrial brands like Steelcase, Herman Miller and Knoll.
    A store with a good used section will prominently display items for sale
like those giant rubberized door mats, as well as water coolers. The store
will have a concrete floor.
    If the store is lit entirely by tiny halogen lights and you are greeted
by a perky blonde salesperson, you have gone to the wrong place... to find a
nice used chair, anyway.
