  Oh Christ I *HATE* that sound.  One day I was replacing a hard disk
controller in a Pro350 one of those for a customer, and I happened
upon a particularly loud one...I thought "Oh SHIT I just destroyed
this multi-hundred-buck board..."  Most disconcerting.
