I've seen the original "hummers" off road and don't care much for them. 
  They are way too wide and get stuck too easily.  They must be great in 
the open wastelands of Iraq but in North America they aren't well 
suited to anything east of the Mississippi.  At the Uwharrie trails I 
would regularly motor right through stuff in my Bronco that would 
completely bind up a Hummer.
