I have a line on a barebones 9600/200. 604e @200Mhz, 64 bit data
path, ethernet on board, non-crippled IO(for a Mac), 6 PCI slots, 12
DIMM slots for the Apple DIMMs etc. It is missing its video card and
does not have one on-board.
I would need to buy RAM and add a decent SCSI hard drive to it. Would
probably just hang a serial console off ttya until installation, then
do everything over SSH.
I prefer BSDs on such hardware, but have no experience with NetBSD on
such a beastie. Anyone here know how well it runs on this hardware?
Cordially
