ROTFL only on this list would you find a competent geek who doesn't
know how to set Windows up. It's almost a shame to have to learn :-)
If you mean a static address for the machine Rick amswered that, if you
mean setting up a small network with a hosts file, it is
c:\windows\hosts and format is normal. There is probably a
c:\windows\hosts.sam sample file for more particulars.
