[rescue] UPS batteries, west coast

The trickle charger circuitry of the UPS handles the additional charging
required by the larger batteries ??

I've often thought this would be cool to do... but never actually had
a "spare" UPS to try it with.

I would think it best to use sealed gel cells though rather than vehicle
batteries.
