   It's overkill for a small file server.  This is a big file server.

   It has an 800Mbps link to the Cray and two FDDI interfaces.  It also 
runs software RAID so it needs some oomph for that.  There's also a CVS 
server on there that handles my personal and work projects, all my 
company's stuff, and some other things.
