Speaking of NetBSD, have you ever tried reading/writing ext2fs drives
with it?  

For reasons that are lengthy to go into, if reasonably possible, I'd
like to drop a 30gig ext2 disk into a NetBSD machine, but leave the disk
an ext2 disk.
