The Indy Video Option (ev1) software is unbundled. Updates are present 
in the normal 6.5.x update media, but the base software is separate 
from 6.5.

There's an SGI FTP meta-index somewhere out there which at one point 
had a pointer to a site (in .edu, I believe) which offered the software 
for download. If you can't find it, I have it on hand somewhere and 
could probably mail it to you.
