Depends. They are PReP up to and including the 43P-140. They can run
NetBSD if you get bored by AIX. ;-) 

The 43P-150 is CHRP and uses the same main board as the B50. I have a
half finished Port of NetBSD to the B50. So I am quite sure it is
CHRP/RPA.
