Thanks for your help Matthew, William, and Dave

I've ordered a Keyspan 19QW direct from the local distributor (Maxbyte in
Wellington). They seem to be the best on the market - definitely better
quality than the cheaper Belkin models. The price was pretty good - 41USD
including shipping. 

Although the four-port 49QW was prety tempting, I figure that if I ever
need more serial ports I can just keep adding more 19QW adaptors as required.
