That's when it stops to choke, but one can't call it breathing
yet. G4/800 with 512 MB is when it starts breathing, the RAM
bus is ancient anyway. In general, they put the great chip on
crappy mobos. Did you notice the RAM/mobo diff between new 17"
iMacs and the older ones (both 15 and 17)?
512 is also a choking threshold for XP.
