Thanks!  Must admit I was a bit nervous when I first flipped on the
breaker... I'm mostly relieved that we didn't let the smoke out, and that
it came up at all; the fact that it actually boots and runs is just gravy.  
Hearing those fans spin up is pretty damned impressive!  And highly
satisfying.  :-)

And there are some pictures; I'm debating whether to post them in an 
archived list since they're living on a friend's server for now.  Soon I 
plan to collect everything up at "www.heavycomputing.com." :-)  Just have 
to get a round tuit...

I have 7 system boards, 28 CPUs, and a bathtub full of memory - but only 2
power supplies right now.  In everything I've read the conventional wisdom
is 1:1 relationship between boards and supplies, but if you watch the
power readings in hostview and adjust your margin trip values you can, if
you're careful, run more boards than power modules... but at least until
I'm a lot more familiar with the system, I'm just not gonna push it. :-)

So I'll be testing two boards at a time, and so far no problems.  I
started with 1GB of Cray-labeled RAM, but in the last run replaced the
1/2GB on one board with a gig of Sun-labeled RAM, and it ran just fine.  
I need to load the diagnostics packages and run some more exhaustive
tests.

After that I have some perverse ideas about loading the NeXT PDO kit on 
there and... :-)
