Like paying the balance on checks they write maybe?

Well, that's why the ones without gold are supposed to be armed.

I used to be amazed at how much stuff some people printed. Two guys
came into our shop from a government contractor, and we used to joke
with them: "You know guys, you aren't being paid by the ream..."

But really, I like to read program code on paper, preferrably fan-fold,
but only for long debugging sessions.

Some people print after each test.

At Bank of America, I saw a suit who would print his email, all of it.

Tons of stuff at the printing stations went unclaimed all the time,
hundreds to thousands of pages per month on each printer.

Yep, 'fraid so.

I had a bad habit of using mine while in the building.

I know people who are two-job families and still can barely make it.

The taxes and the cost of things is killing those of us who live in this
thing called reality.

Then you have the job market so depressed, and many of us aren't
working.

In this climate, Congress gave itself a garanteed raise, and executive
salaries went up for saving money by destroying our jobs.

Yep. I love the built-in assumptions and how they are worded. I never
will agree with the idea that its OK to be deceptive in marketing.

Yeah, but it was way too expensive.
