The only way to prevent this is to 'own' the means of production and
use the same corporate tax laws to protect your own income the way that
other rich people do. Give up ownership of things (your corporation
owns everything), and just control everything.
You can add additional protection on assets for your kids by putting
them in trusts that you control (it's very difficult to touch the
assets of minors, even if the parents control them by proxy).
You can get around the self-employment taxes (as a consultant bill
corp-to-corp) this way as well, unless you are a licensed professional
such as an accountant or lawyer.
