man.  
(insert appropriate rolling for if spell suceeds, it only partially
suceeds, leaving your attention captivated but capable of free response).
You: Cast spell of dance with abandon 
(more die rolling, spell works, wife dances nekkid).
(etc etc, more playing)
(suddenly 20 minutes has passed and wife rinses your hair).

(Pardon me, I don't play D&D, so I'm butchering things).
