Pure 100% isopropanol (aka isopropyl alcohol) is almost impossible to
find because the stuff is so aggressively hygroscopic. It sucks up
water from anywhere, including the atmosphere. But you can buy 99%
isopropanol by the gallon at most medical-supply stores, labelled as
surgical alcohol. I always keep a gallon bottle in stock and a pint or
so in a handheld spray-bottle -- an empty Simple Green bottle works
great, with the spray-or-stream nozzle. Useful stuff.
