Well the 3 HP RAID controllers that I have 1Si, 4Si all have intel cpus on them. OEM from LSI LOGIC. I love them. When one of my HD's packed it in the MEGA-BEEPER on the scsi car started to BEEP BEEP BEEP every 2 seconds in a volume so loud I almost fell of my chair. 1) I did have a hot swap assigned 2) I do laugh a lot. k.
