Are these machines fast enough to do OpenGL programming?

I've never been impressed with Sun graphics speed, but I've never used
an Ultra2 with graphics before.

Mostly I'd need good 2D performance, but learning OpenGL and running the
occasional OpenGL program is something I'd want to be able to do.
