I strongly recommend that you check out SCSITool (www.nu2.nu), which
requires an x86 box with a supported SCSI adapter, and a bootable
DOS floppy which can be made on a Win9x box. It's free and it should
be able to do this--feel free to contact me offlist if you need
more help getting it working.
If anyone *does* have the magic recipe to get Solaris "format" to
do this, I'm all ears...never worked for me.
