[rescue] OpenVMS CD boot

Anyone here have experience installing OpenVMS on an Alpha
PWS500au? Supposedly, the OpenVMS 7.3 CD is boot-able but i
can't seem to get it to do so.

I popped the CD in the drive, typed the following at the SRM
console:

>>> boot dkb0.0.1.4.0
(boot dkb0.0.1.4.0 -flags 0)
block 0 of dkb0.0.1.4.0 is not a valid boot block
bootstrap failure

....not sure what the problem is except maybe.....

The OpenVMS Hobbyist CD i received says "OpenVMS VAX V7.3
and Selected Products".  I ordered the Alpha kit, not VAX.  I
was assuming that the Alpha stuff might fall under
"and Selected Products" but if that is an incorrect
assumption it would definitely explain the problem :)

If anyone here has any pointers i would be happy to hear them.
