Yeah, on the 4.3.3 disks, boot up in normal mode, Start Maintenance Mode for 
System Recovery, Access a Root Volume Group, Access this Volume Group and 
start a shell.

Proving that you can do whatever you want with a box given access to it ;)

I really like AIX... I just wish RS/6000s didn't spend so much time POSTing.
