I may give that a shot, although switching to FDDI is
not a priority for me lately, too much other crap too
fix, but at some point i'd like to play around with it
a bit.  
I'm mostly sticking with GigE these days but for older
machines, FDDI cards seem to be much cheaper than FastE
or GigE cards.
