   Really??  Holy cow...how do they deal with dielectric leakage 
problems?  Over time, that charge should decay to pretty much 
nothing...and not a whole lot of time, either.

   That's a really interesting use of a SQUID.

   A physics-oriented friend of mine keeps suggesting that I build one, 
because I have an interest in proton-precession magnetometry and 
gradiometry.  Someday I hope to have that much free time.
