   Yep.  Lots of "charities" are grossly mismanaged...I've seen a bit of 
that from the inside.  I've met a low-level secretary/filing person who 
was making close to $70K/yr  because they had to do *something* with 
the money to keep their tax-exempt status.  Why they just couldn't give 
it to disease research I don't know...that's what they were given the 
money for in the first place.
