Have you noticed the *incredible* number of Florida plates around RI? 
Trust me, the two states are inextricably entwined.  Old RI'ers go to
Florida to die, and young FLA'ers come to RI to work - or something. 
Not sure.  I just notice that there's a constant ebb and flow of people
between the two states.
