I am using fvwm2 for nearly 10 years now, starting with NetBSD on a SS1+
with GC6. I tried some other WMs but came back to fvwm2 quite fast every
time. The only other window manager I use is SGIs 4Dwm und I tuned 4Dwm
to acceppt some of the keyboard shortcuts that I got from fvwm2.
