I had Vonage for a while, but then SBC came out with their "unlimited
LD and local service for $48/month" plan, and it just wasn't worth dealing
with VoIP anymore.  

I'm sure they're using VoIP somewhere along the call path to be able to 
offer that price, but it's not on *my* end and isn't depending on a broadband 
connection.  To me, it appears to be normal POTS.
