[rescue] Booting SATA on an old BIOS

I've tried the SCSI option... Actually, I've tried HDD-0, HDD-1, HDD-2, 
HDD-3, SCSI, RAID, LAN, ZIP100, LS120, FLOPPY, CDROM, USB-FDD, USB-HDD 
and USB-CDROM. I think it's down to the fact that a) my BIOS sees the 
SATA controller as a "Mass storage device" as opposed to a SCSI 
controller or SATA controller. Ideally I'd get my hands on a current (or 
at least within the last 6 months) BIOS, because there would at least be 
the chance of getting a SATA option...

And I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "option ROM"...
