The "on board DSSI controllers" are not supported. DSSI is a parallel
version of CI (Cluster Interconnect), not a predecessor to SCSI. A DSSI
disk shows up as an independent cluster node with an attached disk. So
you need a full CI/SCA subsystem to support this configurations.
The KFQSA QBus DSSI adapter presents a DSSI disk (or tape) as a normal
(T)MSCP device to the QBus. MSCP is well supported in BSD since the old
4.x BSD days.
