Most of these I've seen are 50 pin (9 gig usually) and 68 pin
(23 and 47 gig usually).  And I have yet to see an HVD one
(although I have not gone looking for one).

I have a few elites and never had a problem with them.  I've had two
23G ones runnig mirrored for 2+ years non stop.  I also have a 47G
one that has far less hours, but again, never a problem.  I had some
9G ones... sold those to a friend, to date, he hasn't had any problems.

Admittedly this is a small sampling of all the Elites ever produced
so take this is one user's experience and not a 'fact'.

Now I'm sure the power company would love it if all my hard drives were
Seagate Elites.
