There's a tool for Windows called Streambox VCR (or perhaps Streambox
Ripper) that will download Real streams. You'll end up with a .ra file.
I'm not sure what you'd use to convert these to a useful format. There are
tools that are one step short of the "analogue hole" and intercept PCM data
as it goes to the soundcard. You could then re-encode to MP3.
There's also LD_PRELOAD hacks you can use on the Linux version of RealPlayer
to capture decoded stream data.
