[rescue] Thoughts on mailing list advertising?

Thanks for the consideration. All things being equal, I prefer no ads,
as I feel like society (and my inbox!) is already thoroughly permeated
with advertising. I'm certainly not going to leave the list over it,
though, as long as they're as described (2-3 lines at the bottom of
messages).
