Amen.  Intolerance and discrimination[0] are Good Things.  We evolved
those skills for a -reason-!  To say that you want a thing done a
certain way -because it's right- doesn't make you a meanie, it makes you
a sensible person.  But, nowadays, any old thing done any old way by and
old schmuck who may or may-not have a clue is supposed to be "okay"
because we're "tolerant".  Hence computer rooms full of PCs, helpdesks
staffed but folks who can't speak the customer's language, system
adminstrators who are "certified" but couldn't explain the difference
between an MX and an A record and ...

Dammit, I need coffee.


[0] As in "wanting things done right" and "being able to tell the
     difference between good/bad, right/wrong, well-done/poorly-done,
     etc."  That's the other evil of political correctness--language
     pollution.  "A discriminating fellow" invokes "racist" instead of
     "connoisseur".
