I had a small over-voltage problem with a 1TB disk array...

Damn thing was set to 110V, and I found the one rack in the cage with 
208V. I suppose it sounds a bit like a shotgun blast, but the smell... 
That and picking bits of cap out of your clothing. And changing your 
trousers...
