I've never used it for that, but it has the capability.

Also, depending on your application, the lantronix stuff might be 
appropriate.  We have some serial scales that use lantronix stuff.  They 
accept incoming telnet connections (on a configurable port), and when 
you connect, they empty their buffer of what has happened on the serial 
port.  While you're connected, everthing comes out over the telnet 
connection as it happens on the serial port.  They have a lot of 
options, what i've used is embedded and 802.3, but there's 802.11 
options as well.

Are you looking to connect a serial terminal via 802.11, or some sort of 
other serial device?
