Unless the app is coded/certified [0] for a specific version of
Solaris, and won't run on Solaris 10 without changes.  You can't
run Sol9 on a T1K.

[0] this is VERY IMPORTANT for a lot of apps. "Oh, we don't SUPPORT
    our product running on Solaris 10..."
