Well I'll tell ya, the one thing to watch out for is the amount of
space an 8550 takes up. I hadn't been planning on having a large,
free-standing printer in the house. It measures about 2'x2.5' and
stands hip-high to me.
It includes two paper trays sitting atop it's wheeled base, though I
think it can take another, larger tray below. I picked up a duplexer
on ePay and it just pops in and works, no fuss.
I haven't looked that far into it, but it didn't look like it was
possible to convert this unit to it's multi-function printer (MFP)
equivalent. Would be nice to be able to use it as a network
scanner, but I'm happy to have color.
