A long time ago I carpooled with a friend of mine. Since we were both
single we often went out to dinner, shopping, the movies, the shooting
range etc.
I worked near an earlier stop on the expressway, so I would get off
and walk to work. I also got out of work earlier, so I would
cross over the expressway and walk to his garage.
There were times that I got there and said, "let's eat dinner in town
tonight". Sometimes it was so bad, I said "let's eat dinner in the
restaurant next door".
