Last year, our local independent bookstore closed its doors. Because
we'd been loyal patrons, we were able to get onto the list to give some
of the shelves a good home for a decent price ($25/shelf, and we sold
off the Sauder bookshelves they replaced for $25 ea., thus giving
ourselves a godo $75 profit *and* more linear shelf feet!).
